Hispanic Heritage Month

As part of our humanities curriculum, during Hispanic Heritage Month students at Club learn about the art, history, literature, people, and culture of Hispanic countries.

Hispanic Heritage Month

Arbol de la Vida (tree of life)

In addition to classroom studies, individual students choose a Hispanic art form to research and create a piece of art in that form. At the end of October, Club teachers host their annual Hispanic Heritage Night. This night serves as a culmination of our studies and gives our Club community the opportunity to come together and eat authentic food prepared by Club families and local restaurants. In addition to the dinner, families enjoy looking at displays of art, writing, and research that line the hallways. To get a glimpse of our most recent Hispanic Heritage Night, please enjoy the slideshow prepared by 1st grade teacher, Ms. Foote.
