Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year! Club Boulevard Humanities Magnet School is one of six magnet elementary schools in the Durham Public Schools system. The humanities are the foundation of our instruction, which extends into each classroom and also provides out-of-classroom enrichment opportunities for literature and the arts.

We place a strong emphasis on the effective use of authentic literature and the arts to support curriculum and instruction. We also offer all students elective courses at each grade level, and extended day classes sponsored by our PTA on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Our teachers are creative, experienced, and dedicated to challenging every student. We have active parents, dedicated volunteers, terrific staff and wonderful students.
